Learn drawing, painting, portraiture, and composition from Kristopher Meadows, a professional artist and instructor with over forty years of experience. A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Kristopher has taught at SCAD, Portfolio Center, Atlanta College of Art, and Spruill Center for the Arts. Each student receives individualized instruction based on their personal goals, interests, and current level of experience – from complete beginner to advanced professional.

CLASS INFORMATION

In-Person Small Group Instruction

• Instruction is individualized to meet each student's experience level and artistic goals.

• Classes are intentionally limited to six students to ensure that each participant receives individualized instruction, personal critiques, and one-on-one guidance throughout each session.

• Classes meet Monday and Thursday from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

• Tuition is $50 per class and is paid monthly (Four-week months: $200, Five-week months: $250) via cash, Venmo or Zelle.

Private One-on-One Instruction

Personalized one-on-one instruction is available remotely via FaceTime at a rate of $50 per hour. Sessions are customized to each student's goals and may focus on drawing, painting, portraiture, composition, color, critique, or portfolio development. Students receive Kristopher's full attention and individualized feedback throughout the lesson, making private instruction ideal for students seeking accelerated progress, portfolio development, or focused instruction in specific areas of drawing and painting.

Kristopher has taught hundreds of students throughout his career, ranging from complete beginners to professional artists seeking advanced instruction. Many former students have gone on to careers in illustration, fine art, animation, design, and art education.

Who Can Enroll?

Classes are open to students of all skill levels, from complete beginners to experienced artists seeking advanced instruction in drawing, painting, portraiture, and composition.

Each student receives individualized guidance based on their personal goals, interests, and current level of experience.

MAKEUP & ATTENDANCE POLICIES

Attendance & Makeup Classes

Students are expected to attend their regularly scheduled weekly class. If a student misses a class, a makeup session may be scheduled on an alternate class day, provided space is available.

Only currently enrolled students whose tuition is current may participate in makeup classes. Makeup classes must be completed within the current calendar year.

If Kristopher must cancel a class due to illness, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances, a makeup class will be provided.

Enrollment & Tuition

Students beginning after the start of a monthly session will have tuition prorated based on the number of remaining classes in that month.

Students who discontinue enrollment or fall behind on tuition payments forfeit any unused makeup classes previously earned.

HOLIDAY POLICIES

Holiday Schedule

Classes are conducted year-round with the exception of certain holidays.

When a scheduled class falls on a holiday, students may either:

• Attend a designated makeup session, or

• Schedule a makeup class during another regularly scheduled class period, space permitting.

To maintain scheduling flexibility, students are encouraged to complete makeup sessions within the same calendar year whenever possible.
